Podcasts
Podcasts are an alternative way to provide information to your readers. Several libraries have begun to experiment and provide information in this format. If you haven't already done so, you should really go and listen to some of them to see if this medium is for you.- Podcasts produced by Cardiff University Information Service and the Student Union entitled the "Student survival guide to writing an essay." There are six in the series and they range from What makes a good essay to Getting your references in order. They are upbeat and motivational, letting students know what is expected of them and where to go for more help.
- Six podcasts produced by Oxford Brookes library covering a wide range of topics including plagiarism, What's new in the Library, tours of the Wheatley and Headington Libraries.
