The conference is organised by the NHS England Library Staff Development Group,London Health Libraries and the Consortium of Independent Health Information Libraries in London.   EBIL is a conference organised 'by practitioners for practitioners'.

The purpose of this event is to bring together the IL educators who have completed the courses and projects sponsored by NLH. The event will offer the opportunity to discuss and share good practice with conference attendees drawn from NHS, university-related libraries and independent health libraries.

The event is being sponsored by the CILIP CSG Information Literacy Group, EBSCO and Ovid.
